This is a Project Life layout I did to celebrate my son's 13th birthday and his first experience shaving. Even though I blog about some of these events in our lives I love having my albums as a representation of our day to day lives. My kids love to flip through these last four years of albums, and I have found them to be invaluable when I'm trying to recall a detail or memory from our lives. For example, I kept apologizing to my husband recently for not doing very much for his 50th birthday. I flipped back through last year's album and saw that I DID indeed do some special things AND I was reminded that my son graduated three days later from our homeschool. It was slightly chaotic last year!
I printed out journaling for one 4x6 journaling slot and added a receipt for the watch my son got for his birthday. If you notice the name is blotted out to protect my son from some of his more sensitive issues. If you're not familiar with our adoption story feel free to read here and here.
Love the clean look of your pages. I think it's great that you got to capture your son's first foray into the world of shaving!
