52 Lists in 52 Weeks #15

List #15: What's on your declutter list?

We have decided to have a yard sale this Saturday because the weather looks amazing. We held one two years ago, the first in a decade. It was iffy weather and by 10:30 AM the bottom fell out. And didn't stop for HOURS. It was awful. We took everything we could to Goodwill and threw away the rest. Apparently, we still have junk because I could barely get in the attic. How does that happen?

Needless to say, my declutter list is pretty extensive.

1. Attic. Our attic is only partially floored and you can't stand up in it. Plus, I'm very allergic to dust. Add to that the layer of pollen covering the world.  By the end of the evening hauling stuff down last night I was a sneezing, dripping, hacking mess. Not a pretty sight.

2. Storage building. This is mainly for Christmas storage, my dad's wheelchair that I'm not ready to give away (cost $1000), and miscellaneous junk. Tim's is charge of this, thank goodness. We have redone several rooms so all the old dated garbage decor is out there.

3. Tim's workshop. Yup, that's for him again. I have no idea what is even out there. I can't get past the dog poop in the yard to find my way into his frightening sacred hideaway.

4. The kitchen cabinets. Totally need of some storage restructuring and new ideas. Pinterest to the rescue! After the yard sale. After our end of year testing. After vacation. Okay, just after. I'll work on that.

5. Master bedroom. Okay, it cracks me up just calling it that. All our bedrooms are tiny so there's not a lot of "master" in it. I don't spend a lot of waking time in there so I'm able to procrastinate on this area in a big way. It's on the list.

Other than that, we have reorganized, redecorated and/or revamped most of the rest of the house. It's amazing. Except for my declutter list. Yard sale on Saturday. Be there.
