The left layout shows a shot of my computer when I was watching photography videos. I also included photos of our massive zucchinis and using the food processor to shred and freeze it. My kids went to camp the last full week in June so I also put in a letter from my daughter and our tradition of writing encouragement notes.
The right layout shows two of my yard sale purchases (my deal of the week) and a wrap up of the month of June. I used a combination of handwritten journaling and computer journaling (taken from my blog).

Oh, what a lovely idea with the notes! I am sure your children treasure them.
ReplyDeleteWe also do encouragement notes that we write throughout the year and give them on Christmas Day. I have found it's harder to do these since I'm blogging so much but it also gives me insight into what's going on when I look back on the notes given to my older kids. Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteThe encouragement notes are so important as we struggle with the negative belief systems of our adopted kids especially. It's a way to encourage when you don't especially feel it any other way!
