Newest Favorite Game

We have a new favorite game at our house. It's called Quelf and it's truly unique! Here's an overview about the game and then I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves!

As you move around the game board acting as one of eight quirky characters, crazy things start to happen. Your daughter starts talking strangely. Your father’s face is wrapped in toilet paper. Your brother act like Dracula. And you are reciting a poem about your armpits.
The Game is insanity in a box! With this entertainingly silly party game, you will have loads of fun with your family and friends. This game will inspire you to use your creativity, wit and sense of humor in ways you have never imagined.
Every time you start a new game, it is a new journey into wackiness. When the dust settles and someone crawls away the winner, you realize… you have never had this much of fun playing a board game in your life!

For ages 12 and up.

My son-in-law (apparently getting ready to shoot something)

S, doing her interpretation of yoga....or a wild bird

The chief, pondering his instructions

The newlyweds, finding an excuse to smooch (instructions just happened to be kiss the person next to you under the mistletoe. Ewww....that could have been embarrassing)

Rachel, the boomerang, walking around the house saying "wanka, wanka."
She also got to be Frankenstein and could only grunt out one syllable.
Priceless :-)

S, tying and wearing her daddy's tie. She did a good job!

Tim's card: play percussion during my entire turn until the end of the game (or he is relieved of the card)

Still drumming away

My instructions: make  the Leaning Tower of Pisa from paper

No clues allowed.

Intense concentration.

Unbelievably, the drummer guessed it!

High five!

Next turn and I can't even make it past reading the card without hysterics!

My directions:

Sing Old Macdonald had a farm

replacing animal names with each person playing the game

and making up a sound to match the person

With a......

snort, snort here

and a snort, snort there.........

Well, you know the rest.

You guys figure this one out yourself.

Love, love, love this game!
